Mental Health professionals recognised mood disorder symptoms in children and adults. They both do not have similar symptoms it is more difficult to diagnose symptoms in children because they cannot able to express their feelings. 70% of females experience depression than males. The most common types of mood disorders are Major depression, Persistent depressive disorder (dysthymia), Bipolar disorder, Disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, Premenstrual dysmorphic disorder, Mood disorder due to a general medical condition, Substance-induced mood disorder.
